"Why A Son Needs A Dad"? Part II

Why A Son Needs A Dad

Let us continue what Gregory E. Lang has said. More reasons why a son needs a dad is to:

  • make the family whole.
  • help him face his challenges with confidence.
  • show him how to control his temper.
  • tell him there is no disgrace in losing.
  • show him how to compromise.
  • tell him that all is not hopeless, even when it may seem that it is.
  • nurture his independence.
  • teach him that respect must be earned.
  • so he will have at least one hero he can depend on.
  • to share with him the wisdom he has not yet acquired.
  • show him how to love others, even when it is hard.
  • to prepare him for being responsible for his own family.
  • teach him to treat women with kindness.
  • teach him that men and women are equal.
  • to provide the guidance that will steer him from trouble.
  • help him understand it isn't necessary to be like everyone else.
  • teach him when to lead and when to follow.
  • to discipline him firmly and fairly, while loving him relentlessly.
  • to teach him to avoid selfish temptations.
  • to show him unconditional love.
Well my friends, I think this is enough to digest today. Please share this with other dads who perhaps need a little more wisdom with what to do and say to their sons. This is real!
